Advancing America's Preparedness Through Strategic Stockpiling & Biosecurity
The SNS Foundation is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization building a more resilient nation through research, education, policy engagement, and public-private collaboration in health security and pandemic preparedness.
The Next Crisis Won't Wait. Neither Should We.
COVID-19 exposed critical vulnerabilities in America's preparedness infrastructure: fragmented supply chains, depleted stockpiles, inconsistent state-level readiness, and regulatory barriers that slowed the deployment of life-saving technologies.
As responsibility for preparedness and stockpiling shifts to states and regional systems, most jurisdictions remain structurally unprepared to independently manage resilient stockpile systems at scale. There is no interoperable framework coordinating procurement standards, inventory lifecycle management, or surge deployment across jurisdictions.
The SNS Foundation exists to close these gaps—bringing together federal and state government, healthcare systems, manufacturers, and preparedness experts to build the coordinated resilience our nation requires.
